Now THIS is what I’m talking about… a cigar with meaning behind it.

My guys over at Black Star Line Cigars are getting ready to drop something special at PCA 2026 in New Orleans, and this one goes way beyond just the blend. Introducing the Eugene Bullard—a limited release that pays tribute to a true pioneer and absolute legend.

Eugene Bullard wasn’t just anybody… this man was the first Black combat fighter pilot in history, flying for France during World War I. But that’s just scratching the surface—he was also a boxer, a war hero, and a man who broke barriers long before it was even imaginable. That kind of story deserves to be told—and Black Star Line is doing it the right way.

And you already know I gotta give a big shoutout to the founder—my guy Aric Bey—who continues to bring purpose and culture into everything he does. This is more than cigars… it’s legacy, it’s storytelling, and it’s respect.

Now let’s talk about the smoke…

This one is coming out of La Zona in Nicaragua, a factory known for putting out some serious boutique heat. The blend features a dark Mexican San Andrés wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and fillers—so expect some richness, but with balance and complexity to keep things interesting.

They went with a 5.5 x 46 vitola, which I actually love. That size usually gives you a more focused, dialed-in experience—no fluff, just straight flavor.

But here’s the kicker… this is limited limited. Only 200 bundles made, 10 cigars per bundle, with a $13.50 price point. That’s a solid entry for something this meaningful and collectible.

At the end of the day, this release hits on something we’re seeing more and more in the industry—cigars with a story. And when that story is real, powerful, and rooted in history like this one… it hits different.

Black Star Line isn’t just making cigars—they’re telling stories that matter.

If you’re heading to PCA 2026, this is one you’re gonna want to track down. Trust me.
