Man, this one right here… you can tell it’s got roots. Not just another release—this thing carries that old Little Havana soul with it. You light it up and it feels like you’re tapping into something that’s been built the hard way, brick by brick.
First Third:
From the jump, it comes out swinging. Heavy espresso, dark chocolate, and just a touch of sweetness hanging in the background. It’s bold, no doubt, but not overwhelming. Smoke is thick, burn is clean—no complaints right out the gate.
Second Third:
Now it starts opening up. The spice creeps in a bit more—nice pepper kick, especially on the retrohale—but it doesn’t overpower everything else. You start getting more of that leather note, and it balances everything out real nice. Construction is dialed in… just sit back and enjoy it.
Final Third:
This is where it turns up. Strength builds, flavors get deeper—more earthy, more leather, and that espresso note just sticks with you all the way through. It’s rich, it’s bold, and it lets you know it’s there. Not a cigar you rush… this is one you respect.
Final Thoughts:
This stick feels like a proper tribute. It’s got character, it’s got flavor, and it doesn’t try to be anything it’s not. Just a solid, full-bodied cigar with some history behind it. Definitely one I’d keep in the rotation for when I want something with a little more punch.
Score: 8.2 / 10
